Amazing. That’s how I’d describe the people across this country and Canada who have that do-it-yourself spirit. They are people who create beautiful furniture and other goods from scratch. They are people who take time — and thrive on! — discovering and saving things before they end up in a landfill. They sweat, scrub, scrape, and cut. They paint, sew, tack and hammer away until they’ve literally brought a piece back to life. From “trash to treasure.” One of those people is Dena, and today I want to share a stellar DIY transformation she completed recently.
